One of the most important events in Poland is behind us! We are pleased that once again we could be part of an event that addresses the most important issues in the area of economy, environment and social responsibility.
On December 2, the 4th edition of the Polish Power of Business Congress took place at PGE Narodowy. The organizers of the meeting were the Clean Air Foundation and the Positive Ideas Foundation.
The mission of the Socio-Economic Congress is to create a space for fruitful dialogues, exchange of views and mutual inspiration in order to implement positive changes in the Polish economy based on sustainable development and social responsibility.
Interesting discussions and expert debates await the participants, which will take place within three pillars:
- SECURITY
- VALUES
- CLIMATE AND ECONOMY
The challenges and opportunities facing the Polish economy were discussed, as well as the issue of prevailing technological trends and planned investments.
Every year, the Polish Power of Business is a place to meet and exchange views of the most prominent representatives of business, academia, NGO's, as well as representatives of central and local administration.
HANTON Szalc Zięba & Partners at the Polish Power of Business Congress was represented by Partners of the Firm - attorney Adam Szalc and attorney Łukasz Dziamski, who acted as speakers during two panels:
- “Storyleaders - regulations, law and the impact of external factors on the energy transition”;
- "Safe and energy-efficient buildings. EPBD and European standards in construction”.

25-11-2024An important event in the rail transport industry is behind us, the 14th edition of the “Railway Congress”, whose organizers were Zespół Doradców Gospodarczych TOR, Wydawnictwo Rynek Kolejowy oraz Forum Kolejowe. The conference was held on Thursday, November 14, at the Copernicus Science Center in Warsaw. The Railway Congress is one of the largest and most prestigious conference events in the rail transport sector.

14-11-2024Another publication by lawyers from HANTON Szalc Zięba & Partners in the IKAR Quarterly, i.e. the most prestigious publication dealing with the intersection of law, economics and technical aspects, i.e. regulated sectors. In the latest Internet Antitrust and Regulatory Quarterly (IKAR), an article entitled “Is an ecological railroad possible without regulation?” was published, prepared by our railroad law specialists r.c. 17-10-2024The international “TSL Industry Congress. Terminals Europe-Asia” organized by the Poland-Asia Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Polish-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce. The event was held on October 16-17 at the Double Tree By Hilton hotel in Warsaw. The TERMINALS 2024 international event, as announced, turned out to be a place to exchange a huge dose of knowledge, interesting lectures and high-class networking with representatives of the largest TSL industry companies in Poland.
