Another fruitful initiative within PUIG is behind us!
Last week we had the pleasure of participating in the Energy Committee meeting organized by the Polish-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce at the Targowa | Targowa Creativity Centre.
The inaugural meeting opened a series of substantive committees planned by the Chamber to strengthen the positions and demands of PUIG members. The main topic of the past debate was the cooperation of energy companies on both sides of the Polish-Ukrainian border and the support of Ukraine's infrastructure by Polish entrepreneurs. During the meeting, the possibilities for cooperation between the Polish and Ukrainian energy sectors were discussed, as well as the challenges and obstacles that may arise in connection with their implementation. Participants pointed out the need to use the potential of scientific cooperation, knowledge exchange and strengthening cooperation in the gas market. They also touched on the use of drones in warfare and the use of local energy resources for energy transition.
The premise of the Energy Committee is that member companies should strive to develop RES, raise energy efficiency and transform energy systems towards a sustainable future.
The next meeting of the Energy Committee is scheduled for the second quarter of 2024 and will be held in the West Pomeranian Province.
