Another publication by lawyers from HANTON Szalc Zięba & Partners in the IKAR Quarterly, i.e. the most prestigious publication dealing with the intersection of law, economics and technical aspects, i.e. regulated sectors.
In the latest Internet Antitrust and Regulatory Quarterly (IKAR), an article entitled “Is an ecological railroad possible without regulation?” was published, prepared by our railroad law specialists r.c. Ewelina Nieznalska and r.c. Anna Głusiec.
In their paper, the authors of the text touched on the introduction of green railroads in Poland being an important step towards sustainable transport and environmental protection, and providing a basis for supporting the process of transformation of Polish rail transport towards low-emission. In the prepared publication, the Ladies Counsel performed a legal analysis of the current regulations in the area of green railroads, which are in force in Poland and in European Union law. Using the example of night railroads and hydrogen vehicles, they also attempted to answer the question of whether it is possible to introduce green railroads in Poland without creating appropriate legal regulations.
If you are curious - whether a green railroad is possible without regulations and interested in the topic of ecology in rail transport - we invite you to read the entire article.
We wish you fruitful reading!
