Winning in the National Appeals Chamber!
The contract value amounts to nearly PLN 500 million. The legal service ended with a positive judgment of the National Appeals Chamber as of December 21, 2021. The Chamber accepted the arguments presented by the Law Firm regarding the principles of modernization of railway vehicles, which result from the new provisions of the so-called 4th Railway Package. The arguments related to the right to use the construction documentation and the tests performed for the running bogie, which is the most important element of the passenger car’s running system, turned out to be particularly important and decisive. Legal services were managed by Michał Zięba, attorney-at-law.

08-03-2024Last week we had the pleasure of participating in a meeting of the Energy Committee organized by the Polish-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce at the Targowa | Targowa Creativity Center. The inaugural meeting opened a series of substantive committees planned by the Chamber to strengthen the positions and demands of #PUIG members. The main topic of the past debate was the cooperation of energy companies on both sides of the Polish-Ukrainian border and the support of Ukraine's infrastructure by Polish entrepreneurs. During the meeting, opportunities for cooperation between the Polish and Ukrainian energy sectors were discussed, as well as the challenges and obstacles that may arise in connection with their implementation. Participants pointed out the need to use the potential of scientific cooperation, knowledge exchange and strengthening cooperation in the gas market. The use of drones in warfare and the use of local energy resources for energy transition were also discussed.

We are extremely pleased that the group of member companies to which we belong is constantly growing! The Economic Chamber of Land Transport is an economic self-government organization representing companies related to rail transport and infrastructure investments. It was established in 1995 to actively cooperate with national and European institutions in the field of rail transport regulation and investment, and to protect the interests of member companies. Within the Land Transport Chamber of Commerce there are industry sections: Railroad Carriers, Wagon and Shipping, and Railway Construction. Their principal areas of activity include: the principles and costs of access to rail infrastructure, technical regulations and safety, as well as infrastructure investment activities, particularly with regard to the principles of contractor selection and contractual conditions.
